BREAKING IN YOUR GLOVE
Yennaco Custom Gloves are made of high quality genuine cowhide. This leather is soft, allowing for easy, natural break-in and shaping of the web pocket. Many glove oils exist on the market, but we suggest using foamy shaving cream. That's right, the same shaving cream you'll find in almost any household bathroom.

Shaving cream is best applied with your bare hands. Work it into all areas of the glove including the laces. Take extra time on dry or cracked areas you may find in the palm of your glove. It's important to treat your glove periodically in order to maintain the fit and flexibility. Once treated, head outside and play catch. There's no substitute for real practice to help obtain the shape and feel your looking for.

TIP (what not to do) - Don't soak your glove in water or apply heat. This will dry and crack the leather, resulting in a rigid, inflexible glove.

TIP - If you're not using your glove during the dry winter months, treat it with shaving cream and store in a ziplock bag in order to maintain softness.
